On Thursday, 7th May, Wrexham SU held the Annual SU Awards in a packed out Catrin Finch Centre.

For one of our most popular celebrations of the year, there was live entertainment on the night from local star Rebecca Royal, and over 100 students and staff members in attendance!

Guests were treated to a welcome drink on arrival and enjoyed a two-course meal.

We received 211 nominations across the board for a total of 21 awards. Students and staff had the opportunity to nominate a student, staff member or group who they felt had gone above and beyond during this academic year. Nominations for each award were carefully reviewed and winners were then selected by a judging panel.

The evening also gave us the opportunity to present our new organisational strategy, and launch our new Strategy Video summarising how we will show up for students in the next three years.

A professional photographer was in attendance to capture the best moments of the evening, with both staff and students enjoying having professional photos taken in all of their glitz and glamour!
