Remedial Mat Work Course

What will I learn?

This two-day course will cover the basic principles of pilates; you will learn a number of exercises adapted to a clincial setting, as well as how to design and teach a programme based on these principles and exercises.

When and where will the course take place?

The course will be delivered over two days: Monday 15th and Tuesday 16th of June from 9AM until 5PM both days. The location is room "1887" on the WU Plas Coch Campus (conference space opposite the stairwell near the canteen).

What do I gain?

Successful completion of the course will earn participants a Physiotherapy and Pilates Rehabilitation Centre (PPRC) certificate. This will allow you to teach mat-based Pilates as a qualified Physiotherapist.

What does it cost?

The course costs £350 per person for up to 7 participants (£300pp for 8+ participants).
If you pay £350 but 8 or more students book on, you will receive a £50 refund.

What do I need to bring?

You will need to bring along a yoga/Pilates mat and a foam roller (15cm by 90cm). Please also wear comfortable clothing and footwear, and bring along water to drink.
